Agriculture Minister Jim Paice MP to open NSA Sheep 2010

NSA Sheep 2010, the UK industry’s biennial business to business event, will be held at the Three Counties Show Ground, Malvern on Tuesday 3 August and officially opened by Agriculture Minister, Jim Paice MP.

Staged by the National Sheep Association and co-organiser, the Three Counties Agricultural Society, the event has attracted over 250 exhibitors, including 59 sheep breed associations and societies, and once again it is expecting a huge crowd sheep farmers. NSA will also be welcoming overseas visitors keen do business; they represent more than 10 countries and will be traveling from as a far a field as France and New Zealand.

NSA Sheep 2010 organiser, Helen Davies comments: “We are delighted that the Minister, Jim Paice has taken up our invitation to officially open NSA Sheep 2010. We are looking forward to the opportunity of hearing his thoughts on the industry, how this change of government will be of benefit to sheep farmers and how we can work together to face the numerous challenges both immediate and longer term.”

He adds: “The event is offering the most comprehensive programmes of activities ever, each of which has been carefully designed to provide every member of the industry with opportunities to do business as well as for business reflection and more informed decision making.
